Getting images to scroll - best method.

    Hello everyday,
Well, I'm trying to get images to scroll on my page.

This is what I'm trying to do.
I'm creating a "Top Story Section" at the top of the page.

I want as many top stories but they are going to be in individual boxes/divs or images. I need the top story to scroll horizontally so the user can view as many top stories or click on a button to forward to go backward.

There are many ways to do this.

But I'm asking what the best route to take for maximum accessibility.
Do I use Flash or Javascript?

Basically it's an image scroller with the headlines.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks everyone.

Cross browser JavaScript is best. There are many free scripts out there, just google it or visit script sites like scrptsearch DOT com and HotScripts DOT com.

I'd probably use CSS for this, actually. It can be tricky to set up (even I have had trouble with it from time to time since I rarely use the technique), but once it's up and running...

Hang on, I'll see if I can find a link to some tutorials that show how it can be done.

I'm not quite understanding what your trying to do. One way I would get images to scroll horizontally or vertically is it to a have div and put the image inside and have a vertical or horizontal width and make the height as small as possible. This will give you the div effect.

What? I really appreciate your efforts to help but I cannot understand a thing you wrote.

I'm looking for a way to get images to scroll.
I could build one in Flash but it's too much work.
I found this at hotscript, http://www.sothink.com/product/javas...ples/index.htm

    Something like that.

Yeah, thanks very much, unfortunately, that's not what I am looking for.
I am looking for something like a Flash Image scroller.

I'll try building one myself, I'm just too damn lazy.

But if you have any other ideas, let me know.
