Maybe I'm blind, but I've looked all over that site and couldn't find one. I did a search on "validator" and nothing came up.

Are you talking about simple form validation javascript? If yes, email me and I'll send you what I've got. It's very simple... All you have to do is to add a hidden field and attach r_ for required before each form field, or e_ for email or i_ for integers. Very very easy but works well.

    Let me know...

Nah, I'm looking for something to detect errors in scripts. Does that exist? I'm pretty new to JS, so I'd like to be able to have something that can point out errors.

    Hi,

This post confused me for a while aswell but I think Novice was talking about a programme that validates JavaScript he has written.

I have never heard off one before and I also searched at download.com and couldn't find one.

i use homesite and when i "browse-(using homesite)" the page it will usually give me a line number which is better than nothing.

if you're using netscape sometimes it'll give you an error and just type javascript: in the location box and it'll give you details about the error.

Script-aware editors like HotDog Professional 6 will hilight errors in JavaScript for you, as well.
