    Page jumping on load

    Hey guys,

    This is driving me crazy lol and I've tried everything :X

    my site : http://www.ichumon.com

    when it loads, the page shifts over to the right a little but once its fully completed it will shift right back.

    Now someone said this could be that you havn't set your width='' and height='' values on an image. :/ So i went through all my code on the page and I couldn't find a single image that could be messing it up.

    The only thing that could have been messing it up was that I am putting an image in a table td and not setting the height (How can I set the height, when the page size varies with each load?)

    i.e.
    Code:
    <td width='900' background=\"header_mid.gif\">
    So i'm not exactly sure what the problem could be :/ But any help at all would be appriciated. Am I looking for javascript code? Bad HTML or CSS :X?

    In Firefox I only get the register image 'jumping' from right to left onload. What browser are you using?

    Perhaps the center tags? Or you could try overflow: hidden on the td.

    I am not getting that error. Also, either your page is very heavy, or your hosting company put you on a shared box that has little bandwidth. It took a long time for the page to load.

    Hmm. That's wierd. We pay $200 a month for our hosting :/ Also, I did some tests, and it seems its the scripting code which creates the shift in FF. Whenever I remove the script and just have it echo out text and images, it works fine. But whenever I have a script on the page to grab data from the database, it will lag it and cause the page "jump" :S
