I'm trying to use this nice jQuery plugin (March '08 Updated Script):
http://remysharp.com/2007/01/25/jque...ext-box-hints/

It allows textual "hints" inside of input boxes. And it works well with .NET except for one aspect....

It tries to add an onSubmit function to remove those "hints" before the form is posted back. It does so with this code:

Code JavaScript:

function remove(){ //removal code here }

$form = $(this.form);
$form.submit(remove);

However, ASP.NET bypasses that and submits the form through Postback anyway.

What's the best way to allow this to work?

It has to be do-able, since we can do javascript confirm() boxes to prevent items from being submitted for delete...

Thanks,
Brandon
