    formatting

I'm working with a client who is writing articles in word format and then wants them on the internet. I was going to hopefully put them in a webpage and convert from .doc to .html: are there any scripts that will do this and maintain formatting, or are there any way he can copy into a text box and ahve it maintain formatting?

If you open the .doc file in Word, you can save as .html
Horrendous mark-up perhaps, but HTML just the same.

I may be missing something, but where does PHP come in?

TinyMCE will allow you to paste directly from Word into one of its WYSIWYG interfaces but afaik the horrible Word HTML code will remain.

I was thinking about TinyMCE, I was hoping to automate it. So client uploads teh doc file runs a script which than adds the doc file to the page.
