swfobject vs object

Hi all

Been having a little problem embedding a flash movie, basically just needed to replace <embed> to meet markup standards, I've used the Satay Method using <object> but I've been doing a little scouring of the net and come across swfobject which uses javascript file - <script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>

It seems like a lot of big sites are using swfobject but then some are using the Satay Method.

Just wondering what is the best option to use? What do you use?
