    javascript, rss and php

I'm building a "widget" for a client. It really is a simple news ticker but it needs to be deployed across a network of 125 different domains (which means ajax is out).

That stated anything I do has to be central and has to be able to be integrated into another site with little code.

I've decide to create a php file to parse the rss feeds and then just request it is as a js file. Is this the best method? Will there be problems down the road?
    anyone seen my website link?

I think that's the best method, which is quite common. Then all your client needs to is include a <script> element which points to your PHP file. Your PHP should output the relevant javascript to build the ticker with the relevant data on the client's site. The benefit is that the outputted javascript can be very small, simple and fast, with no need for Ajax or anything prone to breaking.
