    css question

I have a question about css and thouht I would check here for anyone who might be able to guide me. I am much more a designer than I am a programmer, so here goes:

What I want to do is, almost like a frameset type of thing. In a certain area where my portfolio will be, i will have buttons, for instance. And if you were to click on a button, it would bring that certain portfolio piece up in a specified area where all the pieces would show. Now, I would like to figure out how to do that. If anyone could help, I would greatly apprecaite it.

    Thanks much

Yes you can but that would take a total reload of the screen where the way 2000 is doing it is dynamic and requires no refreshing except of the iframe.

What about using hidden CSS layers for this? Simple javascript behavior linked to each button to show the respective layer.
