MySQL access denied error
Recently I installed a fresh copy of MySQL 3.23.49 on a local OS X server machine. I followed the directions according to http://www.entropy.ch and the actual mysql daemon ran on startup like planned.
But here is my issue. Like every time I go to do settings or add users or even use the thing for the first, I get this error:
ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: 'root@localhost'(using password:No)
Its kinda getting on my nerves and I used all the help docs from the mysql.com page but neither has worked. Is there a way I can get around this? thanks
