    I would like to include an external file (http://myothersite/pagetoinclude.asp) into my main site. Can I do that with SSI (note: the page to include is an ASP file). Thanks!

    I don't think there is a way to do that unless you are hosting both sites on the same server and can access it in that manner.

    Your other options are to use a JScript or CGI to grab the file. This should also process the ASP since the Server will dish it up to the script after it reads the code.

    BUT you will run into problems more than likely if this is an intereactive page or if you have to pass VAR back and forth.

    with just SSI .. no

    if you have a programming language such as PHP available you can do somethin of the sort

    <?
    $fp = fopen("http://whatever.com/file.asp","r");

    while(!feof($fp))
    {
    $buffer = fgets($fp,"4096");
    echo $buffer;
    }
    ?>
