    Question about the following site.....

    I was wondering if anyone knows how to make images and text scroll against a static background image like in this site:

    the-scorpions.(you know what...)(they wouldn't let me post the link)

    Does anyone know how they did that? Do you use frames? Or is it in Flash or something?

    Hi and welcome to SitePoint weich1213

    The background property is set to fixed in the css file. There are different layers and different images but they follow the same principle.

    the main background is: http://www.the-scorpions.com/images/bg_body_br.jpg

    and in the content div: http://www.the-scorpions.com/images/...ver_center.jpg

    and teh css file: http://www.the-scorpions.com/basic.css

    The css used for the main body:
    Code:
    html, body {
    	background-attachment : fixed;
    	background-repeat : repeat-x;
    	background-position : bottom center;
    	background-image : url(/images/bg_body_br.jpg);
    }
    so the fixed attribute keeps it static.
