On the LoTR tip: is the relationship between Sauron and Gandalf that Gandalf was one of 5 wizards (the Istari) specifically put on Middle Earth by the gods to whoop Sauron?

Okay, now we are getting there. Harry is close, let me give another hint:

    - Gandalf is not from Middle Earth, as Harry said, we was sent there with the specific task to counterweight the power together with the other Istari.
Gandalf is also older then Middle Earth itself, he is a being created by the good gods.

    - Melkor, of whom I spoke a few posts back, was a good god who turned evil.

    - Gods are able to create half-gods, which are usually called Maiar.

Come on, it should be a piece of cake now!

right - so they're both half-gods created by full gods?
    They're both Maiar?
    is that it?
I read Silmarillion ages ago but I don't think any of it stuck.

You're walking down the street one day and a mysterious stranger, wearing dark glasses, long coat and a hat, slips you a piece of paper with this on it

    ...- .. ... .. - / ... .. - . .--. -- - .. -. - ..-. --- .-. ..- -- ... .-.-.- -.-. - -- --
    What should you do?

A famous Silent Movie Star once wrote music for his own film. What was the name of the film and the name of the song he penned?

Very nicely done. One of my favorite songs (at least the barbershop arrangement of it).

    Your turn.

Tricky. Trying to come up with stuff that can't be googled in one search.

After the Germans, a citizen of which nation was the next to lay their hands on the Enigma machine. (seen U-571?)
