    Please look at this website - Questions regarding Nav Bar

    Take a look at this page. This is the link. http://www.patrickjudson.com/index.html
    If you scroll over the "Our Services" tab, it rolls over but what confuses me is I need the main nav bar, the "Our Services" to go back to normal state when you scroll over the sub menu items.

    I need the main menu to roll over only when the mouse is over it but to return to normal state when a person scrolls over the sub menu.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks everyone.

    Change the script induced class ".MenuBarItemSubmenuHover" selectors to a hover selectors like "a.MenuBarItemSubmenu:hover" in the sprymenu css.
    Code:
    /* Menu items that are open with submenus are set to MenuBarItemHover with a blue background and white text */
    ul.MenuBarHorizontal a.MenuBarItemHover, ul.MenuBarHorizontal a.MenuBarItemSubmenu:hover, ul.MenuBarHorizontal a.MenuBarSubmenuVisible
    {
    	color: #FFFFFF;
    	background-image: url(website_images/master_navImage.jpg);
    	background-repeat: repeat-x;
    	background-position: center bottom;
    }

    ul.MenuBarHorizontal a.hereMenuBarItemHover, ul.MenuBarHorizontal a.MenuBarItemSubmenu:hover, ul.MenuBarHorizontal a.MenuBarSubmenuVisible
    {
    	color: #FFFFFF;
    	background-image: url(website_images/master_navImage.jpg);
    	background-repeat: repeat-x;
    	background-position: center bottom;
    }

    Hey, thanks very much for your help.
    I tried your instructions and it's working but this is what is happening.

    When you scroll over the "Our Services" there is no hover effects, I need the hover effect on the "Our Services" tab but that it goes off when you scroll over sub menu items. Right now, the "Our Services" tab does not have a hover state but the sub menus does.

    So if I scroll over the "Our Services" tab I need that to hover/Highlight but should go back to regular/normal state when I go over the submenu items.

    Thanks again for your help!

    When I check your site now, you have implement the :hover and it does work in IE and FF as I hover on "Our Services". And it goes off when I hover the submenu.

    I might be missing something, am I?

    EDIT) I didn't see your post, glad you have it working.

    Thanks so much Erik, it is people like you that makes the pain involved with web development tolerable.

    Thanks again.
