    Installing a drop down menu

I have designed a drop down html/css menu which is proving difficult to actually put on my forum and display so would any kind soul be able to look at the code and change it to make it work. The code was written by a complete novice so if it looks strange dont be surprised. I wouldn't want the actual menu design or style change but just the code accordingly to display on all browsers. I can pay a small amount if necessary.

    Thanks in advance

I would suggest having a look at http://htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/. This should be a good starting point for your CSS menu issue. Good luck.

I created a free CSS generator for creating dropdown menus. The link is in my signature.

    Thanks guys for your replies.

I have actually managed to get a drop down menu installed on the forum but if any kind soul would be able to help me to make sure it shows up in different browsers and fits different screen sizes and resolutions it would be very much appreciated. It's all for a good cause after all

What browsers are you having trouble with and what do you want the menu to look and behave like? I can see what it looks like in Firefox 3 right now, but I don't know if that is exactly what you want it do look like/do.

For any of you looking for the link to jonnyjonny_uk's site, here it is ... http://www.ofear.com/

Thanks so much for your kind reply.

I would like the menu to be centered on the screen. I'm having reports it's not working right in Opera. Also when viewed on a widescreen it ends up being on two lines and on the left hand side.

    Thanks again

I think it's better if you make a dropdown menu from javascript...

Not only would such a dropdown menu be inaccessible to people who depend on keyboard navigation, but also those who don't have it enabled (or worse, had it stripped by a firewall) as well as search engines.

If I was to send the code would someody be able to help me out here? I'm even willing to pay for the service. I do appreciate your comments and help but it really is above me all this and I need someone to actually install it properly please. If not then could you point me in the right place for a paid service like this which comes recommended.

    Thanks

I apologise for that. I just wanted to keep the topic flowing here but I understand your reasons.
