rename the image the image is changes to an other image

Hi,

I am using templates(by downloading) to design my website.

When im trying to rename the image the image is changes to an other image after renaming... Why is it so....

your post really doesnt make sense at all. what do you mean the image name changes? explain yourself a bit better and you may get answers to your issue.

For example the image is like a menu with Contact in the name of asd.gif. When i try to rename the image to contact.gif the image is changing to menu Test after renaming...

I have no idea what you are talking about, you make no sense.
But the best way is to use an ftp program to browse your server files, if necessary download them then change the names then upload everything clean again?
