image not showing up in IE

I've run into a pretty strange problem, I think..

this image shows up in firefox, but not IE. This is rather frustrating because the image is supposed to appear on the main page of the site (picture of the map) http://www.thedowneypatriot.com/

is there any reason why that image (and that image alone) would display in one browser but not another? i've tried both relative and absolute links to the image

Well the image shows Up now since i fixed it.
The image seems like it was made in photoshop in CMYK color mode.
I switched the mode to RGB and i saved it as a .JPEG file.
Try saving the file and displaying the image in IE.It should work.

Different Browsers display images differently.

thanks! that was really odd because when i opened it, photoshop thought it was in rgb. so i converted it to cmyk then back to rgb and resaved it. i never even thought that could be the problem though! many many thanks
