    word press template

    I need some advice on a wordpress template. If I had an content website directed towards a small audience should I use a template that has 2 columns or 3 columns

    It depends, standard wordpress templates typically provide a column for content, and then sidebar columns for widgets, navigation, advertisement etc. You need to decide if you have enough additions to your content to utilize the space of 3 columns efficiently. A lot of white space will have a negative effect on your site.

    I prefer three column because you can better utilize the space of the page.

    It depends on what you define convert. You can certainly adapt it as you would be able to adapt any template. How easy or difficult to adapt will depend on how the template was built and your particular needs.

    If you have seen a template that you think is perfect for your purposes, I would try to adapt it and see if I could get it work.

    If you are more concern with contents then a 2-column layout will do.
