    Getting the physical location of a shared directory

    I am hosting a site on a shared server (GoDaddy) and need to delete PDF files I create after 30 days or so-- but I can't figure out how to get the actual physical location of the file to delete it (e.g. "c:\\Coldfusion\wwwroot....").

    Is there a function or variable that I'm missing or is there another way to delete a file if you can't hard code the physical path?

    When did GoDaddy start supporting ColdFusion?

    You may have to do it with PHP scripts.

    GoDaddy have supported CF for a long time.

    For the OP look at expand path:

    <cfset path = expandPath(".") />
    <cfdump var="#path#" />
