I've joined with one of blog community. And I think it's interenting for me. But I'm still confused about the opinion that blog community can increase our traffic. Is it right?

It increases traffic, yes. With a blog community, you are able to connect with the other bloggers and if they get wind of something you post that they're interested in, you're sure to get some audience to your blog. You can get constant readership with blog communities, especially if you are consistent with interesting and exciting posts.

If prefer using small blog group in order to increase traffic. People are more inclined to refer each other. You can also do group project (same topic with different opinion on different blog linking to each other). That will increase your chance of improving not only your traffic but your readership as well.

Technorati is a favorite among many, but I'm having fun with blogcatalog and mybloglog.
I've used blog catalog quite a bit, and it brings people in.. the key for a blog is to get people to leave comments, and I've managed to achieve this and get some interesting comments back from visitors to my blog.
Blog really can help you to gain more traffic. Participating in blog community with means of exchanging ideas with other bloggers and having a quality and exciting blog posts can really be an effective way.
I agree that blogcatalog is a great community!
I've gotten a lot of hits from there, and even though my main blog isn't yet ranked highly on google for my main keywords, my blogcatalog description of my site somehow is.. and I've gotten alot of hits from that.

yes, that's true, joining blogs can help in increasing your web traffic...it will be more helpful if you also try to send comments to blogs which you feel are related to your site's contents...but always make sure that you're also giving useful or helpful comments for other readers as well

Blogcatalog certainly a nice community although i prefer to have my post on official blogs of websites which directly attracts visitors to sites.

Not only does it offer you a vast amount of knowledge given the interactive environment as people are generous in sharing their knowledge it also provides Google the opportunity to better crawl websites helping to increase your own sites rankings via organic search results.
Since blogging url's are fairly simple it allows search engine spiders to better crawl blog content and if the link to your site is included within the better the chances an increased amount of traffic will be driven to your site.

i don't think blog community really helps you lead traffic. choose social bookmarking website which really leads quality traffic
yes blogs community always help to bring traffic but use it efficiently .
As for my own experience, all depends on your post relevence - if people do really need your information, they will follow on to your website.

in my opinion it has helped me for like an extra 3-5 views a day, who knows maybe one of them can convert for me. My philosophy is that every view counts, and the more places you have your site/blog the more ways there are for it to get noticed in return equaling more views.

I think so, because community blog has many visit. however it is also depends on what post you have posted there, you better think of something that may caught the attention of many.
MyBlogLog and Blogcatalog are great ways of getting traffic, immediately register if you didnt and join some communities there.
