    Adobe Photoshop Raw Files???

Hi everyone, I was trying to look on the internet but everything seems like a dead end, I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with editing raw files. Thing is I have a camera that takes pictures .pef which say they are uncompressed raw files and idk how to open them in adobe photoshop cs2, also is their a plugin or something used for editing raw files? thanks for any help I really appreciate it.

Check Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter - I hope this software supports your raw image format.

Photoshop uses Adobe Camera Raw to convert raw files to psd-format. And newer versions of ACR supports more raw files then the one before.

But there are other converters you can use to. Some of them are free, some you have to pay for. On Mac there are Raw Developer, Raw Photo Processor and more.

But, the camera maker also have it's own software to convert it's own raw file format.

Try the links I had posted - the first one will let you download the DNG Converter.
