You might as well send the request now. I know a member (active at the time) who requested the change just before Christmas two years ago. It's been almost two years and he still has his old username

Yeah, How about a mass username change?

For one, I cant stand my lowercase 'a', being a grammar freak; But I'm thinking of a full name job... can't decide, and we only get to change it once (though I'm not sure on the inforcement applied to that).

It's strict. If it wasn't, it'd drive the admins nuts.

I'll keep my one for now, and if I get upgraded to mentor I'll change it then - I'm a keep-on-hold-then-process-in-bulk kinda guy

I looked at my desk when I signed up for a forum last year. I saw my sunglasses (maui jims) and my keychain, which was displaying my kroger store card (kroger is a large, midwest grocery store chain.)

    I enjoy all the stories.

Interesting to learn that spence is actually called Neil. The noodle bit is still odd and unexplained (and apparently unexplainable) though!

My name is Rafael and British people have trouble pronouncing it properly and like shortening it to Raf. Some of my friends at uni then started calling me Raffles for unknown reasons and it stuck with a group of them. It was during this time at uni that I signed up to SPF and this was the first thing that popped into my head.

Actually what I think is that, these online usernames are a kind of persona. Whatever you want to be or whatever way you want to see yourself, but may be you are not able to be like that. So I think, in most cases, people use to choose a type of name what they want to be or in what way they want to see themselves.

Well lets see, you live alone out in the sticks of Sweden. Autistic, maybe not, Cuckoo yes. I don't think "ReclusiveCuckoo" would have had the same effect.

(by the way -- you know I love your username! )

my moniker came about when my sis decided i needed AIM, we tried a few things and found them already taken, so we tried Larkrune. Larkrune is a combination of two names for a char in a book we both liked, and it fit because the char was a musician and so am I it usually gets shortened just to lark though I've found that my name is very rarely if ever taken.
