Firefox 3 is showing my websites in a strange way....

    Hello All:

I know this may sound funny but bare with me as I explain.

I manage a few sites for my job as webmaster, one being http://www.kardwell.com.

If I go into a store item, like this link here - http://www.kardwell.com/page/KII/CTGY/PARTY-KITS-WINTER

There seems to be an invisible table column that is going down the right side of the page, that is forcing the products to the left side.

In IE, the product will consume the whole page as it did in Firefox 2. The only thing that has changed is that I upgraded to Firefox 3.

I am using the default theme to FF so I don't know what else I could have done.

Does anyone else see what I am talking about with this design issue?

I am surprised that FF2 showed it in the way you wanted. That was luck!

Your page doesn't validate, for a start. If you want broswers to behave as good boys, you need them to play in standards mode. You need a doctype, in your case, and because of the code you have, a HTML 4.01 Transitional would be good.

There are various errors there. I would suggest that you correct the validation errors. You need to correct them first before we can have a look into it... working in quirks mode makes it hard to find solutions because you are leaving the browser to decide how things should look instead of following the rules.

Yeah, that is what I was afraid of......

Being that is all generated inside a Miva Merchant Shopping Cart I am going to have to find where the shopping cart inserts those tags.

I was hoping it was just something simpler than me digging through Miva backend code to find the issue.

Well, i guess that is why it is called work.

    Thanks for your help,
