no ads between posts blogger blogspot issue

I am not sure if this is the right section for the question if it isnt please change it

After having changed my template
i used the expandable code post summary code and
Now I dont see any ads between my posts can someone please help me how
do i post ads between posts, I had those earlier after each 5 posts using the add widget trick now it doesnt work i dont know why
