Sub-Domains?
Hi there,
I have recently purchased some server space and have what is a pretty basic question. I stupidly assumed I would be able to register multiple domains to this server space but have been told :
The only way of doing this would be to either to set the other domain
to forward to a subdirectory on your primary account or to purchase
another account.
Am I right in thinking if I set up a subdomain it would always be mysite/subdomain.com where as what I need is the regular mysite.com
Hope that makes sense, essentially I can't have this new site show as being a sub-domain.
Any help much appreciated.

From the sounds of it, you don't have the option of hosting multiple domains, just domain forwarding... so you won't be able to do that with your hosting. If you didn't sign a long term contract wherever you purchased it, a lot of budget hosts do multi-domain hosting now.

OK, I kind of figured that would be the case.
Thanks for your response
