    newsletter question

    HI,

    is it possible to implement a newsletter/auto responder script with no database support?

    It is, but it's much easier and efficient with databases.

    As for the autoresponder, you'd need something deeper in the system than PHP. Something to do with APACHE if I recall correctly.

    The one I use isn't run on a mysql database so I'm guessing that yah you can because it runs pretty good and manages tons of my lists without trouble.

    Yep, definitely possible, though certainly not as practical (unless you're keeping a single newsletter with a small amount of subscribers).
