    photo editor for clients

I am looking for a free photo editor that will allow my clients to prepare and upload images to a CMS. I need one for Mac and PC lovers. It needs to:
    1) crop
    2) resize
    3) optimize.
    Suggestions?

I haven't used it, but I'm told that Gimp is the free equivalent to Photoshop...

If they're using a Mac then they probably have iPhoto on their computer.

With requirements like these, they could use a simple image browser like XnView (my favorite), FastStone or IrfanView.

If some more features would be needed, they can use Gimp/GimpShop or Paint.NET (I've been using the latter one for simple edits and it was OK).
