Exclamation Need help with Portfolio organization

    Hi everyone-

I'm redesigning my portfolio and am trying to come up with a solution to organize my work.

    Let's talk templates:
I want 5 to a page. But as I add a new one, I want the old ones pushed back. So say I have template #s 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 on my templates.html page. Then I add #6. So I want it to be #s 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 on the front templates page and #1 would be moved to another page. As I'm sure you've noticed, this could be QUITE the process, especially after it gets to be more than two pages per section (one for logos, one for templates, and one for misc.)

Is there any solution to this? Of course there's PHP, which I don't know - which means I would have to hire someone. But I'd rather not get into SS coding.

Can anyone think of any way? Or am I gonna have to hire someone to do the PHP for me JUST so that I can have an easy-to-manage Portfolio?

    Thanks

Could you not just use SSI for the code block displaying the templates, name the includes with a convention (say sequential numbers), then you'd only have to change the numbers on your pages each time you upload a new template "inlclude". It would be much easier to manage in php - but there's a halfway solution for you...

    Thanks for the advice

I'm going to use PHP includes and I came up with a way that will make updating fairly simple.

Hey Swimm... may I advise this organizational method? Potential clients want to see your best work; not necessarily your most recent. I wouldn't put them in sequential order- but rather in order of most impressive.

Well d00d make it 54321 and leave it like that. When making a portfolio try not to make any changes. Like what I am doing is making a new portfolio every 2 years.
