    Purgeing a website??

    New Topic

I am using MS Web Publishing Wizard to publish my files to the net. Can anybody tell me the answers to the following questions

1/ Can I view all the pages that have been published to the web on my site. Even those that I have forgotten what they may have been called??
2/. Can I then delete those pages that are no longer in use??
3/. Can you tell me a easy to use FTP program other than WPW??
4/. Could you please reply using basic english as I'm not that well up on all the jargon??

I would apprciate any help that I can be given.

    Thanks in advance

I second the Ws_ftpLE or pro--LE should be free--it's the most intuitive ftp program I have found.

    Roy,
I just saw your other post, so lets see what we can do to help out. I know nothing about MS Web Publishing Wizard, but you have to be uploading to a host of some sort. You have user ID and Password. I use WS_ftp from http://www.ipswitch.com and it should be a free download for you. For minor changes to my sites I will update individual pages. I will simply ftp up the new replacement pages and all is well. I am currently working on a total redesign and when I have everything ready I will totally (at about 3 am) take down the site, via ftp, and upload the new site (again via ftp). Does this help at all? If not I will keep looking here and we will get you where you need to be!
