    Arrow How did he DO that!

    I am not an Obama fanboy or something (I ain't even an American), but I saw this ad somewhere and its totally awesome...see the pic I attached...what are the filters, effects, and tricks do you think the person who made this ad used in order to come up with the end product? Its beautiful...

    The background collage image has been done first, and then by the look of it has had a texture placed over the top to obtain the grunge effect, and then destructed using masking/ erasing.

    If this was done in Photoshop, it's an easy combination of layer masks and careful brushing, if it's full vector then it's a bit more complex, but the same principal applies.

    It's an easy effect to achieve with a some grunge brushes and a few layer masks.

    Is that an official Obama graphic, or a fan/supporter created image?

    Not to get all political, but if this election were to be decided by the quality of the graphic design of the campaigns, Obama would win easily. The guy has some slick designers on his staff.

    I really love the Obama campaign website... its so slick and beautiful...
