Question Accessibility Larger Smaller Text Buttons Needed?

Just a quick question are the larger and smaller, increase and de-crease text buttons needed by law, or should be included?

Or is it at the developers desecration or whether the site needs it, they want to include it?

I noticed that the W3C site doesn't even have it or a skip to content.

Is there a simple yes or no answer to this?

Or a site which lists what you should have by law or could have but its not too bad if you dont kind of thing?

I'm not aware of any laws that state you should have them. Indeed if you build a site correctly this is usually enough to allow visitors to use their browser settings to determine their own font sizes anyway.

"Skiplinks" can be useful for screen reader users, but again it not a necessity but can help some users.

These sort of features are really something you decide on during development. If you think that they might help your visitors then use them

No, they're not needed. This function is built into virtually all browsers, and there's no reason to duplicate it. In case your visitors are extreme beginners, you may add a description of how to alter the text size from within the most common browsers (IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari).
