Where to start learning actionscript?
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good book or web resource for learning actionscript (3.0 I guess as it's the latest version).
I'm a complete beginnner and know nothing about actionscript. Although I've done a little ColdFusion and know a little about variables, functions, loops etc. (My knowledge of these is hazy though.)

kirupa.com tutorials have always been great for me, they have a decent forum as well. Also, here is good if you are stuck with anything.

I am registered on Kirupa myself but never really liked the place.
i found some of the members really liked to over complicate something that could be a whole lot simpler. If i had stuck with Kirupa when i first started out i doubt i would be where i am at today.
Forums i browse daily
FlashMove
ActionScript.org
FlashKit
Sephiroth's
SitePoint
Actionscript.org seems really good for help and advice on AS3. It's where i am picking up help and tips from..:To me AS is like LEGO, Only for the big Kids :.
