Good RSS Websites to submit your blog to?

I heard some good ways you can get traffic to your blog is by submitting your blogs RSS feed to RSS reader websites... does anyone know any good websites where it would be a good idea to submit your blog RSS feed to?

    Thanks!

Most blog software automatically pings the major sites anyway, so there is rarely any point in submitting your posts manually.

Yeah i heard about pinging but not sure really what it is. Could you give me some more information about pinging and how to automatically ping the major sites? Is there an add-on for wordpress or something i can download to do it?

And thanks RichardG87 for the list of RSS sites.

WordPress does pinging automatically, so there isn't much use for a plugin.

There is an option somewhere in the admin panel to turn it off I think, but it's on by default.

Basically what happens, is that when you create a post, the blog 'pings' a bunch of sites alerting them that your blog has been updated so that they know to update their systems. You will generally notice that a site created with WordPress takes a minute or so to be indexed by Google, whereas if you just dumpy a bunch of HTML files up on the web, they won't get indexed for quite a while because Google indexes the pinged sites faster than non-pinged ones - or at least that's my understanding of it.
