Google trends display the traffic trends of any inserted keyword

I use Google adword keyword research to find keywords for optimization

strangely I found that the keywords which display a good competiton on adword are not showing any traffic details on Google trends

For example the keyword search engine optimization company dont have any search traffic on Google according to google trends please check http://www.google.com/trends?q=searc...zation+company

Whereas according to Google adword keyword tool there is a huge competition on this keyword ??/

That is very strange and I don't have an answer, but if you just need the data try Google Insights. It shows up there.
