    input type="range" in mobile safari?

According to the Safari HTML Reference on developer.apple.com there is an Apple extension to the input element where you can put range in the type attribute like <input type="range" [...] />

I know this isnīt in any standard (yet!) but i playing around with a personal webapp for mobile safari.

In my Safari 3.1.2 (PC/WinXP) it renders just fine but _not_ in my mobile safari (got the latest update from Apple installed, not jail breaked).

Anyone got some pointers to any resources saying itīs not implemented or if itīs a known bug or anything.

    Thanks in advance!
    /Anders

<input type=range> was added to Web Forms 2.0 back in 2004 and it's also implemented in Opera. WF2 is currently being merged into HTML5.

I don't know about mobile Safari though.
