I have 1 to 2 meals a day if I am not working hard, or 3 to 4 meals a day if I am working hard; and have been the same weight since I was a teenager. I am 32 now. I think all you people eating 3 to 6 meals a day are going to suffer serious health issues and are probably carrying around a spare tire.

It all depends what kind of work I am doing too. If I am working only on the computer, I tend to eat much less. I'll just have some cereal for breakfast, a sandwich later in the day and something that can be cooked up on a stove later in the day. It might be just some frozen mixed vegetables with some bread and butter.

However, if I am working hard (physically) and most of my life has been spent working physically hard -- even though I tend to spend more time on the computer these days, because I am making more money online, I tend to eat heaps more.

When I am working physically, I tend to eat cereal and toast for breakfast or eggs (or all, depending on how much time I have). I'll have a roll with meat or a pie or something long before lunch, because I'll be starving 1/2 to death from the work, then at lunch time I'll eat again -- something heavy and filling -- not a piece of lettuce. Then I probably wont eat until dinner time but when dinner comes I will pig right out. I'll eat chicken, steak, meat, vegetables, mash potatoes, spaghetti rice or probably most of the above at once -- and I make sure my plate is overflowing. I also eat heaps of bread.

I never every really put on a lot of fat, because I don't revolve my life around stuffing my face all the time, as I see many other people tend to do. I simply eat when I am hungry and if I am not doing a lot of physical work I tend to eat much less and much lighter.

I've worked in an office before and I see 1/2 the people there are fat. As much as I felt like it, I didn't tell them that it is because they've been STUFFING their face since 8:00 when they walked in the door and can't even get to their car before stopping at a cafe or bakery. It's pathetic. How are they going to burn that energy? Pfff'..

Eat food with vitamins in it. Too many people eat food that has little or no nutritional value. Then their body craves, and then they think they are hungry. Eat healthy food and you can eat all you want. Your body will tell you when it's had enough. Hunger is not controlled by food volume. It's controlled by food content.

Two meals a day, lunch and dinner. I never bother with breakfast as I prefer the extra 10 mins of sleep! Plus I never feel hungry in the morning.
