JavaScript Fade-in -- text is grainy in IE7

    Hi guys,

I cannot provide code at this time for this issue, but I was wondering if anyone had any idea why this is happening:

I have a DIV with content inside of it, including an image and some text, with heading tags (h4, h3, etc), and paragraph tags. When the user clicks a link, it triggers a change of "class" in the css from class="hide" to class="show". In addition, I've added a cross-browser fade-in effect (not from JQuery or anything similar, just off some tutorial). It looks fine in Firefox, but IE7 seems to kill the smoothness of the text in the heading tags, so it's all grainy looking. The regular paragraph text looks okay.

Does anyone have any work around for this, or seen something similar?

    Thanks,

    Louis

Your post does not offer sufficient information in regard to code. If you are using an IE-specific alpha transparency transform, then you are encountering a bug. I have a possible fix posted at:

    Hi Brett,

Thank you for that link. That is the same problem I'm having. I'll try what you said.
