I developed my website to be viewed in the lastest versions of Firefox and IE 6 and 7. Should i place a statement on my web pages telling people to upgrade their browser the pages don't render correctly?

You could put a "Best viewed using blah..."

I wouldn't. If someone is using a browser that's over a decade old, then let them. Just make sure the site is as usable as reasonably possible, while those with better browsers (even if it is IE 6) get as much of the full user experience as possible.
And please, don't forget about Opera and Safari when conducting your browser testing.

Thanks guys. I don't have Safari, but i guess i can go get it.
It should work in all modern browsers(ie6+, ff, op, saf), anything below ie6 is a waste of time... Last time I looked it seemed about 0.3% of people use ie5(according to stats on wiki) and it goes down by 0.1% every month it seems. So don't worry about it.

It's available at www.apple.com/safari/
Just don't let Apple try to install Bonjour when you set it up.

Thanks guys. It didn't take 10 minutes to download, install and test all my pages. A few links show up in red for some wierd reason. I guess there is a rule somewhere. But other than that, everything looks perfectly fine.
No problem with Bonjour! that I'm aware of.
