    Problem with my website

    Hi everyone,

    For some reason the top of my site is repeated on the bottom, even though I don't want it there. I fixed the site on my hard drive and uploaded it to a different test site. On my free site it's working fine, but on the main site the bottom banner still comes up. I was hoping one of you sees what I'm doing wrong and helps me correct it.

    Bad Site - www.comparesupermarkets.com/stores.htm
    Good Site - associatedsupermarkets.hypermart.net/stores.htm

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    Look at this segment of html from the 'bad' site:
    Code:
    <tr>
                    <td height="9"></td>
                    <td></td>
                    <td></td>
                    <td></td>
                  </tr>
                </table>
              </td>
            </tr>
          </table>
          <img src="/compare-top.gif" width="779" height="60">{top}<!-- #EndEditable --></td>
            </tr>
          </table>
        </td>
        <td height="659" width="10"></td>
      </tr>
      <tr>
        <td height="16" valign="top" colspan="3">
          <div align="center"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2" color="#FF0000"><a href="/index.htm">Home</a>
            l <a href="/stores.htm">Stores</a> l <a href="/sales.htm">Weekly Sales</a>
            l <a href="/about.htm">About Us</a> l <a href="/news.htm">News</a> l <a href="/contact.htm">Contact</a></font></div>
        </td>
        <td width="10"></td>
    See this bit:
    Code:
    <img src="/compare-top.gif" width="779" height="60">{top}
    That's not in the html of the 'good' site.

    Right, I saw that beforehand. I took the bad site, took out the <img> tag at the bottom and re-uploaded to both sites. Question is, why does it work fine in the good site and not in the bad one?

    Because that line of code is still in the html of the 'bad' site.

    I can only assume that when you made the changes, the new files weren't uploaded to the server correctly.
