    a simple fix needed code inside to look at

    Hello,

    I have this code it opens a graybox when a visitor goes to leave the site.

    The code was generated by a .exe program and it only works for that domain do to something in the code.

    How can I get the same thing on my other domains with out going through the .exe program.

    It seems to have something to do with chatwinval=16759 part of the code.

    I had to add the word dot before com and add a few spaces take out the http and www stuff just edited where the domain name goes all the rest of the code is same

    code below
    --------------------

    <script type="text/javascript">var GB_ROOT_DIR = "domain name dot com";var usemousepos=2;var chatwinval=16759;var chatwin=String.fromCharCode;var exitalertmessage='';if('.'+'domain name dot com'!=window.location.hostname && 'domain name dot com'!=window.location.hostname)alert('Script generated for wrong domain name\n\nPlease regenerate for: '+window.location.hostname);</script>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="domain name dot com"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src=" domain name dot com"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="domain name dot com"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="domain name dot com"></script>
    <link href=" domain name dot com" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    --------------------

    Thanks

    You'll need to generate the script for the new domain.

    Hello,

    Paul

    Thanks I know that :-)

    I want to do it without generating the script.

    I need to open the graybox on any domain when the top of of the page is moused over like a exit pop up script kinda. This one does it only when the top of the browser is reached, like when they go to leave the page.

    Can you do that Paul with out regenerating the script.

    there has to be something in this part of the code that can be removed to make it work on any domain?

    -------------------
    <script type="text/javascript">var GB_ROOT_DIR = "domain name dot com";var usemousepos=2;var chatwinval=16759;var chatwin=String.fromCharCode;var exitalertmessage='';if('.'+'domain name dot com'!=window.location.hostname && 'domain name dot com'!=window.location.hostname)alert('Script generated for wrong domain name\n\nPlease regenerate for: '+window.location.hostname);</script>
    -------------------

    Do you know what this is called to make it work only for one domain I searched for a program or code to do it but can't find anything.

    Thanks

    They appear to have gone to a lot of effort to stop you from using it on a different domain, which leads me to the conclusion that what is being attempted might be considered illegal.

    Hello,

    Paul

    They sell the code generator so you can add it to other domains, the scripts they generate the code for is open source gray box scripts.

    Thanks

    There's the solution then. Buy the generator so that you can add it to other domains.

    Hello,

    Paul

    You're kinda funny.... LOL

    I have the .exe program to do that. I don't want to run the .exe
    program.

    It wants to connect to the internet and sets off my firewall and brings
    red flags that says something don't seem right. If it is connecting to
    the net who knows what it is doing and what info or door it opens to
    do it.

    That is why I want to do the code without the .exe program.

    Do you know what kind of protection this is called?

    thanks

    I believe that it's a piracy prevention that stops people using it without having paid for it.

    I suspect they use a magic number or checksum, which is calculated from your domain.
