Slicing vs what in Flash?
I have been making web designs for a while now, and didn't really touch flash until now. For some reason I am very bored with XHTML and CSS. Don't get me wrong, I just don't have the patience anymore to take the time to properly slice a layout and use CSS technique to design a web page
I am thinking of using flash to build web sites now, and have some questions.
Basically what in flash that is equivalent to CSS/XHTML coding?

If you are using slices with CSS, you have missed the point. They are passe in CSS. Slicing was for tables. Look at zengarden, for example. No slices there. Defeats the point of css background images etc.

Nah, I am not slicing a 800 x 600 image. I implied slicing 1 x 600 image for a CSS bg.
Basically I don't want to play around with floats, positioning anymore

I see what you mean, but it's pretty easy to make bg images, isn't it? Personally I detest Flash-based sites. And, knowing nothing about Flash, it looks a whole lot more work to me... but I'm ignorant, so set me straight if you like!
