    Form---with ajax and javascript

    I am doing an inventory management system which uses a form for inward and outward transactions.In case of inward,the supplier name and invoice number fields should be constant and the category name,item name,price and quantity fields should repeat according to the number of items.....The category name and item names are in dropdown boxes which incorporates ajax...is it possible to repeat those 4 fields with constant supplier name and invoice number using javascript or is it possible to do it in ajax?pls help me...

    Yes it is possible.
    Once you have a select box with the desired fields, you can copy it with
    el2 = el.cloneNode(true);

    If you can do it using Javascript and Ajax. If you are having dynamic information coming from database then you can use Ajax else for static boxes you can apply Javascript directly.
