To me the clouds look like boiling liquid of some sort

They look like little pods for cloud monsters to hatch out of and run amok all over town. But then again, I'm completely insane.

Cool pic, I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent crap weather we have had here. Actually, has anyone seen summer? It's MIA dudes!

They are unusual these clouds. I took a picture last year here on the beach, had the same kind of cotton ball clouds.

Nice photographs. Do these breast like clouds give more rain? Whether the formation is connected with any man made disasters like global warming??

I like the cloud's formation but thinking of the hazard it might give to people makes me think otherwise.

Those clouds are not any kind of omen or real bad weather. The clouds in my photo did not carry any rain, just a little wind.

Apparently these type of clouds usually form when in hot exotic climates and after a thunder storm. They have a name "Mammatus Formations", sounds like a great name for a business

The low sun helps to show up the edges of these types of clouds which I'll now be looking out for them in the future.

    Oh, nice photo Datura

Thanks Spence It is true about the low sun and the storms. We had storms all around us, but we only got the clouds. I am glad to have learned the name these clouds have. Thanks

Here is another picture of the same clouds. It was sunset time (low sun), hot climate as well, and those puffy clouds seemed to be sculpted in the sky.

Thank goodness they don't represent any divine figures . Though probably not as easy to sell over eBay as a virgin Mary cheese is :P .

    I don't know.

Another great photo Datura, you want to mess around with it and change it to look like it's from another planet.

Thanks Spence. That photo would be fun to turn into another worldly scene. These clouds are so rare, I had never seen them before…

The name came from the Latin word for breast, so we are all viewing breats, should this thread now be certified as 18?

You want to do that Datura, in your spare time of course
