When did you start photography?

I started when I was 18 and now I am 30. I m still learning many things and experimenting new things. I always love taking photos of different places everyday and that made me hook into photography

How about you guys? When did you start, How you come up in photography?

I love photography. I Started doing photography when i was in high school. I took a course. Before i took the photography course i had to pass a art class.It was a really fun course.We experimented with various Cameras, dark rooms, etc. I had a blast.I like photography so much im actually looking for some old cameras to get my hands on.I cant wait

I started taking photographs back when I was probably around 8 years old, but it was tourist type shooting. I don't remember how old I was when I got my first digital camera - a 3.3 megapixel Kodak. But it wasn't until I was 32 (back in 2006) that I really started getting into photography, learning about composition, ISO, shutter speed, f-stops, etc.

I started when I was 15 and now 18 and really enjoy doing it as much as possible mainly landscape stuff but have worked professionally doing wedding photography, interior and exterior house photography, industrial photography, product photography and so forth. I have a deviantart that i have alot of work on brewer23.deviantart.com and yeah I currently use a Canon EOS 400D with Canon 50mm 1.8 and Canon 10-22mm.

Ive started when I was ten, my grandfather gave me his old camera Zorkiy-6
but Ive start shooting a lot when Ive bought another camera Minolta XG-9 around 10 years ago... But now I'm with digital Nikon D80 and I can't go out from home without it

When I graduated highschool, I had my first camera as a gift. I dont know why they gave me that. Anyhow, I tried working on it but I think camera's don't like me but I like those that are taken by other people

I started 2 years ago when I enrolled in a program called americorps.. it was great since I was able to travel the gulf and find a lot of interesting things to shoot.

i started after i graduated college that was 2005 - I was 21 then... i make it as a hobby for me to be happy... i like to capture moments specially to the other places where am into. Am still many things to be learned specially the techniques

I have tried photography, but i found that i was really bad at it.
But it still do some photography, as i consider it as my hobby. (though i am not good at it )

2003 with a point-and-shoot film camera. Named it "Grey Box".

In 2004 I got a film SLR and took a quick course in using it. Called this one "Judith" (to go with my tripod, "Edith").

In 2006 I went digital, gave Judith away, and bought "Twii", my Nikon D80.

I'm still using Twii, though her sensor needs cleaning and I can't find anyone in Trinidad to do it.

Been having fun so far, but wow, what an expensive hobby!

I can agree though, when I get filthy, stinkin', rich I'd like to collect old cameras.

They're so simple that you can see the marvel of construction and working mechanisms. My D80 is beautiful, of course, but it's basically a black box with software inside. Today I saw a 4 x 5 film camera (one of those with the black cloth and dip-stick thing to fire the shutter), it was so cool to examine. All the gears. All the moving parts. One slick machine.

I started as a child with a single use camera I got for my birthday

Afterwards when I was 16, bought me a Minolta Zoom Compact camera.
Then when I was 18 I bought me a Lomo LC-A experimental camera.
Then I start shooting with a Nikon Reflex (F401) I borrowed from my grandfather.
Bought a second hand Lubitel 166B. Some toycams like: Supersampler and a rangefinder: Seagull 205A. I worked in a photo store for a year and a half selling photo equipment and learned lots of stuff there. But the boss was an idiot and I ran away there...

Now I'm 25 and I'm shooting digital with Nikon D50 for 2 years. Still as hobby, and I'm not planning to go professional or go further in it. Just having fun
