    site unresponsive in Firefox

    Hello,
I've come across an issue while building a site for a client.

In Firefox, the links don't work or change on mouse-over, the text won't highlight, and you can't type or click on the form. I have one small link outside of the container div, and that works fine though.

It works fine in IE, and it validates for html and css.

    Here's my test page:

    empoweredchoices.com/test/index.htm

Has anyone seen this before, or know what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks very much.

I doubt if it's this simple, but maybe because the page is being served as
    Content-Type: text/html
    instead of
    Content-Type: application/xhtml+xml
while the doctype is XHTML ??

    Thanks,
that didn't seem to change anything. I had it working fine until yesterday, and I didn't do anything to change the doctype or content type.

    Thanks,
I've found the problem. It was the "position: relative" that I put on my web design link at the very bottom.

I don't know why that would have caused so much trouble in Firefox, but the page is OK now. Glad you got it solved, I would have never thought of that.
