    Extra "//"?

    I told web designer of this site: www.womensartspace.com that I'd ask why extra "/" are showing in the address bar each time you click through and then back to an artist's page.....

    To see what I mean, after you land on the homepage, click "Visual Arts". Then, click an artist's thumbnail and you'll be taken to the artist's page. Click "Visual Arts" again, click another artist's thumbnail. Repeat over and over and you'll see that each time in the address bar, another "/" has been added???

    Hi Sculley, without knowing what the language and construction of the navigation system is I can only presume that the navigation is hard coded with an error.

    My guess is there's some kind of Apache mod_rewrite/mod_alias going on that involves a directive using poor regex.
    It may help if you remove the extra slash from the mark-up
    HTML Code:
                <a href="../spokenword.html"><img src="../images/spokenword.gif" alt="SPOKEN WORD" width="152" height="30" border="0" id="Image7" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image7','','../images/bluespokenword.gif',1)" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" /></a><br />
                <a href="..//visualarts.html"><img src="../images/visualarts.gif" alt="VISUAL ARTS" name="Image4" width="152" height="30" border="0" id="Image4" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image4','','../images/visualblue.gif',1)" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" /></a><br />
    BTW the visual arts link is broken on the WNC page

    On a side note, I really like the design of their April issue.

    I'll let her know. Thanks.

    Mittineague,

    Which page did the code come from?
