Jeez plat, that background hurts my eyes... how can you look at that?

hehe yeah i guess it is pretty bright

I dont actually look at my desktop too much though (i like to maximise whatever i'm doing)...

Just press print screen on your keyboard and fire up one of your graphics programs...

I prefer using Print Screen. No download needed!!! Just paste is into your favorite image software!

EDIT: You beat me too it Russel! I could not see your post in Netscape 4.7...very wierd....

1. Press 'Print Screen' on your keyboard.
2. Open Microsoft Paint.
3. Press Ctrl-V.
4. You should see a picture of your desktop.
5. Save it.
6. Open another graphics program and export it as a gif.

I know there are quicker ways to do this, but most people seem to be able to do that

Don't you have photoshop Ruchir?
Just go to your desktop as normal, press the printscrn button on your keyboard, then fire up photoshop, press ctrl-n (for a new image) and ctrl-v (to paste the image) then just do the save it as jpg or gif...

Well . i knew the process and certainly do have Photshop - but it didnt work last time i did it. This time it worked Perfectly . cant understand what was the prblem.
