Searching desperately for a good drop shadow that can go on <div>

    Hi everyone!

I need to find a good drop shadow solution that can be attached to <div>s. I would assume this would just be a part of most js libraries, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Can anyone recommend a solution to me? I haven't been able to find much and the couple I've tried didn't work.

    Try this jQuery plugin: http://plugins.jquery.com/project/DropShadow

I haven't used it; I found it using a quick search.

I kind of tried it. Maybe it's that guys documentation but I couldn't really figure it out. I'm relatively new to javascript and need things spelled out pretty clearly.

Drop shadows are more of a css presentation thing.

Once you have a drop shadow technique that you like, you can then use javascript to add any appropriate wrappers around the images.

the problem with the ALA solutions is that the <div> I want to wrap in a drop shadow is floating left with a left margin. So the drop shadow ends up floating in space. Maybe I'm too dense.
