Blogging is a great way to express personal thoughts though not to get over the border as your boss might be reading what you're saying about him/her.

Blogging is a great way to kill time or just to whine about anything. Some blog/webmaster tend to use their skill to monetize through their blogs. For example take johnchow, his blog is making money by just telling people how many money he earned online. That's ridiculous if you ask me but that's the truth of it

I just started one for fun and I plan to keep it as random as possible (jokes, videos, rants, etc.). I think blogging a good outlet for any creative mind or anyone who likes to write and hopefully it will entertain friends, coworkers and random visitors as well.

Im usualy a website kind of person but with even ive started to realise that blogging seems to be the future, its quick easy to use great for seo and allows users to be quickly guided through content if you inbound link well.

Yep, that's one of the uses that I'll be using mine for. Also it's a way to share what's going on in my life with family and friends who live on the opposite side of the country that I don't get to see or talk to all that much anymore.
