Free PDF Download: Getting Started With Flex 3

Well, our last Flex 3 quiz was quite popular (possibly due to the book giveaway that was attached to it), so we're doing it again.

We've just published another article by Jack Herrington, Build a Web 2.0 Voting Widget with Flex: Part II, which is the follow up to Part I.

Once again, this article comes with a short (five question) multiple choice quiz, so you can test how well you understood the contents of the tutorial.

And once again, the first 100 people to complete this quiz will receive a free copy of Jack's excellent Pocket Guide to Flex 3, Getting Started With Flex 3, delivered to your door. No strings attached! (and a PDF of the same book for everyone else).

Here's the article: Build A Web 2.0 Voting Widget With Flex 3: Part 1

And here's the quiz for this article.

If you're just getting started with Flex 3, I recommend you download Flex Builder if you plan to play along at home.

    Enjoy!

I keep hearing a lot about Flex, and I still haven't studied up on it. I get the impression Flex may be here to stay for a while.

I got my book today, completely forgot I had ordered it. Mum got a nice surprise when the FedEx guy turned up - I didn't think Adobe would pay for it to be shipped all the way from the US to here, that must have costed heaps!
