Firefox 3 gripe
I really like Firefox 3, and enjoy using it, but have recently noticed a problem that really bugs me. I couldn't Google it as I wasn't quite sure what to search for; I'll attempt to describe it.
On a couple of sites, the browser gets 'stuck' while waiting for a web site to respond. I can't scroll or click, or even change tabs, until the server responds or times out. This can sometimes take 30 - 60 seconds.
It has only happened on sites that require content from other servers. You know the kind of thing I mean - the page loads, but you then wait for ad servers, google analytics, CDNs etc. I've had the problem at chess.com and Facebook.
Opera doesn't seem to have this problem, but I'd rather stick with FF3.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks kohoutek, didn't think to try safe mode. Will give it a go and see what happens.
